Candidacy to The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law
The John Marshall Review for Intellectual Property Law ("RIPL") is a student-run organization that is committed to continuing the tradition of excellence in the field of intellectual property at The John Marshall Law School. RIPL is an outgrowth of John Marshall’s intellectual property law program, one of the oldest and most comprehensive programs in the United States. RIPL publishes scholarly work in four yearly issues by prominent and experienced judges, law school professors, and practitioners in the intellectual property field, along with student comments.
RIPL candidates and staff are dedicated to the research, writing, and publishing of each issue. Academic credit is available to those students who successfully complete the candidacy process. All students who are interested in becoming members of RIPL are encouraged to visit the office located on 3-East to learn more about the organization and the candidacy process or by emailing the Candidacy Editor, Erica Byrd at 5byrd@stu.jmls.edu. Transfer students are encouraged to contact the Candidacy Editor if interested in participating.
