A Letter From The Dean

Welcome to The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law. RIPL is a student-run and student-edited electronic journal devoted to the advancement of legal scholarship in the field of intellectual property. Currently in its sixth year, RIPL was originally founded by a group of students seeking to further enhance the already excellent intellectual property program at The John Marshall Law School. Since RIPL's inception, its contributing authors have included United States Supreme Court Judge John Paul Stevens, Circuit Judges for the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Richard Linn and Paul R. Michel, Seventh Circuit Judge Richard Posner, treatise author Donald S. Chisum and many other prominent and experienced attorneys throughout the United States. RIPL and its editors are dedicated to ensure the excellence of each issue and positively contribute to the study of intellectual property law.

Sincerely,

Dean Corkery
